Oh my... Seems like I'm not a very good journal keeper, eh? You'll have to forgive old Ziggy.

So, what's been going on with me... Well, my album Heathen was released in the German Vintage Classics series. Looks very neat, I must say - CD with a vinyl-like finish. It's not any different from the original though.

I'm going to preform at Keep A Child Alive's Annual Black Ball in November, the 9th to be exact. Iman will be there to, co-hosting with Alicia Keys. Looking forward to that, as the cause is one very close to my heart.

Maybe the happiest event for a while was Lexi's sixth birthday. I do believe she got way too many presents for her own good..! But, what else can you do than spoil a daughter like her? ;) The most enjoyed gift was probably a tie between the big rocking horse (that she had to have) and a promise of a visit to the zoo. Children can be very easy to please...

That's right, I could be found, mostly backstage, when Gnarls Barkley preformed at the SummerStage show in NY (where I can still be found). Have to admit they did very well, dressed up as school kids and all... Had a great vocalist, too!

There you go, a slight recap of the past month. Also, if anyone is in the NY area and would like to meet up for an afternoon or so, I'm definitely game. Sure can find time for fellow artists. ;)

It seems a lot of people are happy to see me here, which of course makes me glad. Also, seeing some old aquaintances is a plus. ;) Had a chat with Martin the other night, very fun to hear from him.

In case anyone was wondering what I have been up to lately, I'm afraid I have to say 'not much'. Been spending some time on my own, mainly thinking. It's been the right kind of weather for that sort of thing, you know... Been pondering to give Iggy (Pop, that is) a ring, but I just never got around to it. Which, when considered, it quite sad. He's got a lovely character, that man.

I believe this might just be ranting. Maybe I should return when I've actually got something profound to tell you...

So...

I've understood that a lot of my friends (and probably a few foes as well) have gotten into this blog thing. After a while of pondering, I've decided to give it a try. Falling for the peer pressure, eh?

I'll see what I can do about the looks of this... Should be able to work something out. Meanwhile, feel free to friend the journal.
